ABOUT THE BAND
The Texas metal band RELIC hails from the Panhandle town of Amarillo and was formed in the year 2020 by guitarist Randy Stashi and longtime friend Chris Post, aka The Postman. The band’s music is not the typical metal sound but a cutting-edge mixture of pounding layered rhythms and melodies backing a talented combination of both melodic and crunching metal vocals, with undertones remnant of the metal influences of past generations. This all collides to produce a new sound untapped in today’s metal rock world. The four-piece music act brings with them more than a century of professional music experience and talent.

RANDY STASHI - GUITARIST
Age 54, the man who started it all. The RELIC founder and Lead Guitarist has been playing metal for more than 35 years and started playing professionally in 1990 with the band Eruption. He then went on to perform in the bands Vizion and Atomic Arena. His main musical influences include Judas Priest, KISS, Iron Maiden & Black Sabbath.
POSTMAN - LEAD VOCALIST
Age 53, has rocked the Southwest and National club scene for decades, performing as a professional and powerful metal vocalist since 1986 in such acts as Eruption, Drastic Mezures, The Groovelords, and others, including the renowned band Hinged. His main influences include Iron Maiden, Metallica, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and David Draiman of Disturbed.
TWEEK NORTHRIDGE - BASSIST & VOCALS
Age 53, brings the thundering BASS to this quartet’s unique sound with an instrument arsenal of talent that includes 6-String & 12-String bass guitars. Playing professionally since 1989, Tweek has performed with such acts as Crossroads, The Soul Breakers, Hinged, and the Cassettes. His main influences include Dream Theater, Kings X, Porcupine Tree, Rush's Getty Lee, & Tool's Justin Chamberlain.
MIKE PEREZ - DRUMMER & VOCALS
Age 48, is the backbone of RELIC. Mike is an accomplished musician with a background in both vocal and other instrumental disciplines, but none like his pounding skills on the drums. Perez has been a professional percussionist since 1984, performing for many years in the Christian Tejano act Grupo Promesa throughout NW Texas. His main influences include Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage, Rush, and Def Leppard.
